About The Position

The Daily Catch Restaurant is seeking a friendly and outgoing host/hostess to join our team. As a host/hostess, you will be responsible for greeting customers, managing the seating arrangements, and ensuring that all guests have a positive dining experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, assisting with food and beverage service, and handling customer inquiries.

Requirements

Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

1-year previous experience as a host in a high-volume restaurant/bar

Responsibilities

Greet customers as they arrive and seat them at their tables
Manage the waitlist and reservations, calling to confirm reservations
Provide customers with menus and answer any questions they may have
Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the reception area and dining room
Ensure that tables are cleared and cleaned promptly
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism
Work closely with the kitchen and servers to ensure that guests receive prompt service
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking supplies
Provide excellent customer service at all times
