About The Position

HomeGrown is a daytime eatery that prioritizes kindness, teamwork, and personal development. This position offers a unique restaurant job experience with a schedule that ensures team members are off by 3:30 pm daily. The pay is competitive with traditional restaurant roles, and full-time employees receive paid time off, vision, dental, and medical benefits. Requirements

A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
Friendly and upbeat personality.
Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to follow directions exactly as expected.
Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day.
Attention to detail.
Mobility required during the entire shift.
Ability to carry bus tubs full of dishes and miscellaneous items from tables throughout the restaurant.
Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

Responsibilities

Communicating with other host/hostesses, bussers, servers, bartenders, and management to ensure tables are updated in the seating system and readily available.
Maintaining the seating system and waitlist.
Answering the phone.
Providing exceptional service for guests who order take out.
Pre-bussing tables in the dining room when all dirty tables are clean.
Bussing/cleaning tables inside the restaurant, on the patio, and helping clean the bar top as needed.
Replacing sanitizer in spray bottles and buckets as needed to ensure safety and sanitation.
Cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing work areas before, during, and after the shift.
Assisting with stocking glassware, water bottles, plate ware, silverware, dishes, etc. as needed.
Completing assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
Completing the daily restaurant maintenance program.
