Our host/hostess positions give team members an opportunity to work in a fast paced, team-oriented, gameday atmosphere taking care of our guests. The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. This role greets and seats guests, and helps maintain smooth front-of-house operations by coordinating with servers and bussers. Host/Hostess opportunities are offered in a part time capacity. Flexible hours and scheduling are available, which is great for the busy student or anyone who has outside obligations. Room for advancement on the team is always a possibility for the right team member!

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 10+ hours

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming and energetic welcome, promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness of entryway, including glass doors and entryway floors; sanitize menus after use
• Ensure guest restrooms are clean, stocked and presentable always; including checking paper products, soap, and overall cleanliness during each restroom check; report any maintenance issues immediately
• Ability to memorize floor chart, table numbers, and steps of service
