About The Position
VOX Kitchen is a fusion concept inspired by Chifa, the culinary tradition born from the meeting of Asian and Latin cuisines. Lomo saltado, garlic noodles, craft cocktails, and a menu that doesn't fit neatly into any one category. Find us in Fountain Valley and South Coast Plaza.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Food Handler Card (Training Provided if Needed)
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Manage the waitlist and seating flow efficiently
- Assist with reservations and phone inquiries
- Communicate wait times clearly to guests
- Seat guests according to restaurant procedures and table availability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entrance
- Assist servers, managers, and the front-of-house team as needed
- Provide excellent guest service and help create a welcoming dining experience
