About The Position

The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. This role involves the seating of residents in the dining room, satisfactorily handling situations as they arise, and creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests. The Host/Hostess supervises the activities of service persons in the dining room to ensure proper service and sanitation procedures are followed, and assists in training new service team members under the direction of the Team Leader. Additionally, this role is responsible for supervising the closing of the main dining room, ensuring servers' side work and station setup are properly completed. The position also requires promoting a clean, safe, and neat environment, demonstrating knowledge of fire safety procedures, assisting with resident evacuation in emergencies, and maintaining the confidentiality of resident information. Cooperation with other departments and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

Must be available to work weekends
Responsible for seating of residents in the dining room and satisfactorily handling situations as they arise
