Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience
Superior guest relations skills
Ability to answer guest inquiries about the Resort
Proper phone etiquette to take to-go orders
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Able to clearly speak, write and understand the English language
Able to multi-task in a high volume and high demand work environment
Able to learn and understand dining room and menu offerings

Responsibilities

Greeting and seating guests
Assisting servers as needed
Liaising with management regarding inordinate guest flow, special requests/occasions, and customer feedback
Overall greet and goodbye ceremonies
Warmly welcome guests, seat guests and bid a fond farewell and invite for a return visit
Uses organization skills to run a waitlist, gauge the kitchen, servers and overall dining room performance; determines where guests will be seated
Ensures that large group's requirements are met, including services needed for small children, as well as for individuals with disabilities or food allergies
Inspects and maintains the arrival area, doors, windows as well as menu covers and inserts
Multi-tasking in a high volume and high demand work environment
Understands the dining room and menu offerings
