About The Position

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is seeking a Host/Hostess for its brand-new restaurant, Ship Rock Grille. This role is the first impression for customers and is responsible for providing lasting impressions of excellent customer service. The restaurant features an indoor/outdoor bar, a covered patio, new equipment, furniture, point of sale system, reservation system, and kitchen. The position requires the ability to work daytime, evenings, holidays, and special events.

Requirements

Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred.
Demonstrates excellent guest service skills.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
Must be able to obtain Teams Alcohol Certification.
Enjoys working in a lively environment.

Responsibilities

Greets guests as they arrive and seats them accordingly, ensuring the optimum use of tables.
Ensures any special needs or requests for diners are accommodated and arranged.
Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the front-of-house environment.
Escalates any guest needs or concerns as necessary.
Works closely with the kitchen staff and servers, optimizing communication to ensure efficient operations.
Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests’ needs.
Maintains excellent guest service and a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
Adaptable to guest needs.
Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
