About The Position
The Bavarian Inn Restaurant of Frankenmuth is expanding its hospitality team and is looking for energetic, guest-focused, cheerful, and motivated individuals to work in a fun and fast-paced environment. The restaurant serves over half a million family-style chicken dinners annually, aiming to create enjoyable experiences for all guests. Hosts and hostesses are the first impression for guests and are responsible for exceeding expectations with hospitable, friendly service, offering the best value and an exceptional experience. The host team plays a key role in creating enjoyable, memorable, and fun experiences by ensuring the ideal dining environment is maintained, especially during peak times when the restaurant serves up to 4,000 guests on a Saturday. Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating guests, charting reservations, and bussing tables. The restaurant has eleven dining rooms, each varying in size and accommodating up to 400 guests at a time. Previous experience is welcome but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for a shift of 8+ hours
- Must be available Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
