About The Position
Ondus is looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Experienced Host to join our restaurant team! As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for seating arriving guests promptly and process cashier transactions accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- Experience handling cash and credit card procedures
- Basic Math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Some experience with restaurant computer systems useful
Responsibilities
- Has a friendly, personable style with guests.
- Anticipates customer needs before they ask
- Complies with all standards regarding greeting and seating of guests, such as staying within two feet of guests while walking to the table; pulling out chairs for guests, handing guests an open menu, introducing the server and upselling any specials
- Has full knowledge of and promotes menu, facilities and services, hours of operation and promotional programs
