About The Position
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive first impression for all guests. This role manages reservations, coordinates seating, and ensures smooth guest flow while providing friendly, professional service. The Host/Hostess plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.

- Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy periods

Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and waitlists using reservation systems or manual logs
- Accurately quote wait times and monitor table turnover
- Escort guests to tables and present menus
- Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status and guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Follow all company policies, health, and safety standards
