About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Host Home Provider to open your home and provide a supportive, family-like environment for a 25-year-old high-functioning male enrolled in the Home and Community-based Services (HCS) program. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact someone’s life while receiving ongoing support from our agency.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Must pass required background checks.
- Must be willing to complete HCS Host Home training (provided by the agency).
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, stable, and welcoming home environment.
- Assist with daily living skills as needed while encouraging independence.
- Support community participation, recreational activities, and social engagement.
- Provide transportation to appointments and activities as needed.
- Communicate regularly with the individual’s support team.
- Maintain required documentation in accordance with HCS guidelines.
