About The Position

A Host Home is a shared living arrangement in which a compassionate adult opens their home to an individual with an intellectual disability. As a Host Home Provider, you’ll offer care, support and guidance while fostering independence, inclusion and belonging. As a Host Home Provider, you will be provided with proper training and resources offered by Hope Haven. Which includes Medication manager, CPR, ECT.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must have a private bedroom available.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background and safety checks.
• Must complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Offer care, support and guidance to an individual with an intellectual disability.
• Foster independence, inclusion and belonging for the individual.
• Provide a shared living arrangement in your home.
