About The Position
Dire Wolf Tavern is seeking friendly, engaging, and energetic team members to join their front-of-house crew. As a Host / Food Runner, you will be the first and last impression for guests, ensuring every visit begins with a warm welcome and ends on a positive note, while also assisting servers and bartenders. This is an ideal position for someone looking for part-time, flexible hours, especially during lunch shifts.
Requirements
- Must be 16 or older
- Flexible availability. Lunch, dinner, weekends
- A friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Great communication and multitasking skills
- Comfort working in a busy, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior restaurant or customer service experience helpful — but not required!
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with genuine warmth and hospitality
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Deliver food and drinks to tables; assist servers when needed
- Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly
- Answer phones and assist with takeout orders
- Keep the host stand, entryway, and service areas clean and organized
- Help ensure each guest has a comfortable, enjoyable experience
