About The Position

Four Seasons is currently looking for a Host/ess at Quattro Restaurant & Bar. The role involves providing a warm and engaging welcome to guests, promptly seating them at pre-set tables according to their preferences, and managing the host stand. This includes reviewing the reservation book, recommending room setups, and maintaining a station chart to ensure efficient service while adhering to Four Seasons Service standards. The Host/ess will also answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant or other hotel services. Anticipating guest needs, responding to inquiries or problems, and recognizing regular guests by name are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the Host/ess will inspect and maintain daily menus for quality and appearance, and develop a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. Other duties may be requested by management.

Requirements

Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings
Follow grooming guidelines, always presented in professional manner
Previous experience in a fast pace luxury environment preferred
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

Responsibilities

Always offer a warm and engaging welcome to Quattro Restaurant & Bar.
Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.
Set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.
Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.
Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest’s name consistently.
Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
Perform other duties as requested by the management
