About The Position

At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, our service team plays a vital role in creating thoughtful, memorable guest experiences. As a Full-Time Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests dining at Braidwood Tavern and Sidecut Restaurant, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality service and is eager to grow their skills within a luxury hospitality environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food and beverage, in a restaurant or hotel.
  • Working knowledge of open table beneficial.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
  • Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
  • Valid work authorization for Canada

Responsibilities

  • Open and close Braidwood Tavern or Sidecut Steakhouse according to schedule
  • Welcome guests, manage the host stand, and coordinate reservations (online and by phone)
  • Assign and manage guest seating in alignment with service standards and server sections
  • Collaborate with the service team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, and restaurant offerings
  • Ensure dining room cleanliness, table readiness, and complete administrative tasks as needed
