Host Cashier - Beach Café at Harrah's Laughlin Beach Resort If you're the kind of person who can greet guests with a Family Style Service smile, juggle transactions with ease, and keep the dining flow smooth as a desert breeze, this role might be your perfect fit. Guest-Facing Duties Welcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize service Answer phones with top-tier etiquette and assist with reservations Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors Clear and reset tables during peak hours-aiming for under two minutes! Cash Handling & POS Accurately process payments and return correct change or receipts Maintain your cash bank and complete end-of-shift reports Learn and operate the outlet's POS system This role is all about being the friendly face and steady hand that keeps the Beach Café humming.
Requirements
- 1 year of cash-handling experience preferred
- Must have a valid SNHD Health Card
- Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Comfortable with basic math and using a cash register
- Willing to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Lift up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 150 lbs
- Stand and walk for the entire shift, including stairs
- Work in hot, cold, smoky, or dusty environments
