Reserve Steakhouse Host - Part Time (Harrah's Joliet)
About The Position
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, guiding them to their tables or lounge areas, and contributing to a high standard of quality and service throughout their visit. This position is integral to the overall guest experience, and we look forward to adding dedicated individuals to our dynamic team. Compensation & Benefits: $15.00 per hour. Employment Type – Part-Time Shift Details : Swing Shift: 3:00 pm -11:30 pm (Thursday – Sunday) Please note that the schedule may vary based on the operational requirements of the business, so flexibility is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous restaurant hosting experience is required, preferably in a steakhouse or fine dining setting; cash handling experience is preferred.
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Immediately welcomes all guests using first/last name as appropriate.
- Seats guests in a timely manner and provides essential information regarding the outlet.
- Will possess knowledge of all menu offerings, including all specials and/or promotions.
- Sincerely thanks all guests and provides a warm farewell upon exit from outlet/area.
- Has the ability to oversee communication with service staff regarding any guests’ needs.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s, and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
