About The Position
Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookery is a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. We have been featured in Forbes, Wine Spectator, Eater, and have won "Best Farm to Table Restaurant" four years in a row by The Finger Lakes Times Readers' Choice Awards. We are extremely popular with locals & travelers to our region with positive online reviews and guest feedback. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Our open kitchen celebrates the culinary craft & keeps our whole team in sync with the guests. We have part time positions available starting April, May or June working 2-5 nights per week starting at 6pm. We are currently looking for support staff to join our team for busy nights at our lively & social restaurant from July - October. Must be available on 2-5 nights a week plus on weekends from July through October.
Requirements
- Must be available on 2-5 nights a week plus on weekends from July through October.
- previous restaurant experience & high volume setting preferred, but not required

Responsibilities
- complete side work & cleaning duties to a high standard
- work thoroughly & quickly - have a sense of urgency when accomplishing tasks
- use service trays to bus tables thoroughly & efficiently
- thoroughly clean dining room tables, chairs & floor during service - we need everything to be guest-ready!
- manage the cleaning, polishing & stocking of all glass & silverware during service
- work well in a fast paced environment - we need someone who can keep up!
- maintain a clean and organized station, dining room & all help maintain all FOH stations
- effective communication & team work - you need to be able to work with all service staff
- remain composed - you are “on stage” at all times that you are in the dining room
- part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed
