About The Position

The Distillery Restaurants Corp. is seeking warm and energetic individuals for Host and Support Server roles during their busiest season. These positions will ensure customers feel welcome and experience a smooth service. The roles will end in January 2027. The Distillery Restaurant Corp. offers $17.60 per hour, plus tips, in-house dining perks, a dynamic culture that encourages an entrepreneurial spirit, bold and lively work environments, and the chance to work with a great team.

Requirements

Must already have legal permission to work in Canada.
Minimum one (1) year experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
Bubbly person who enjoys connecting with others.
Enjoys working with others toward a common goal, taking the lead or providing support for the good of the team.

Responsibilities

Manage the flow of guests to maximize seating capacity.
Accurately take reservations and modify the status of guests in OpenTable.
Escort guests to their table, engage them in conversation and seat them accordingly.
Ensure that the front entrance, host stand and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris.
Assist with food running, ensure that plates arrive at the proper guest.
Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services when necessary.
Inspect all tables for proper mise en place, cleanliness and completeness.
Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required.
