About The Position

Provide exceptional hospitality and service that turns a customer into a California Chicken Café raving fan. This role involves maintaining a positive work environment, delivering excellent guest experiences, handling orders and payments, assisting guests in the drive-up service, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and well-stocked. Strong communication regarding operational issues and adherence to company policies are also key.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
• Speak, read, and write English fluently
• Pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred
• Passionate about food and hospitality
• Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and friendly work environment while adhering and applying the company’s core values
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests
• Take guest orders and handle payments using the POS system
• Direct, greet and assist guests in the Drive-Up Service as well as deliver food to guests’ vehicles
• Greet guests with moments of humanity upon arrival
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant
• Strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environment
• Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
