About The Position

Chick-fil-A Happy Valley is seeking an enthusiastic Service Director (Hospitality) to join their team. This hands-on leadership opportunity is designed for someone passionate about hospitality, leadership development, and creating meaningful experiences for both guests and team members. As a Service Director, you will help lead one of Central Pennsylvania's highest-performing Chick-fil-A restaurants while working directly alongside Bruce Herold, a 26-year Chick-fil-A Operator. The restaurant's vision is to "ensure every guest feels cared for in gratitude, through excellence, with purpose." This role offers the opportunity to lead a large team, influence the guest experience, develop future leaders, and build a long-term career within Chick-fil-A, with potential paths to Executive Leadership, multi-unit leadership, or the Chick-fil-A Operator program. The organization invests deeply in its people and offers mentorship, responsibility, and development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
  • Passion for developing people and building teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Alignment with Chick-fil-A's values and mission

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree completed or actively pursuing preferred
  • Hospitality, restaurant, retail, or customer-facing leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every guest feels cared for by creating a culture of genuine hospitality and service excellence
  • Drive key Front of House performance metrics including guest satisfaction, order accuracy, check average, and overall operational execution
  • Recruit, coach, and develop future leaders through regular check-ins, mentorship, and leadership development
  • Lead and inspire a team of 50+ Team Members and leaders to pursue excellence while serving with purpose
  • Maintain a high awareness of the business, guest needs, and service environment while leading from the front
  • Partner with the Director Team to achieve sales growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives
  • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, humility, and teamwork where leaders challenge one another to grow
  • Execute strategic initiatives and projects with excellence, urgency, and attention to detail
  • Serve as a visible ambassador of Chick-fil-A Happy Valley's vision, values, and commitment to the community
  • Help shape the future of one of Central Pennsylvania's most respected Chick-fil-A restaurants through leadership development and operational excellence
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food & team safety
