About The Position

As a Hospitality Champion, you will serve as the face of Wally's, creating memorable first and last impressions for thousands of guests each week. Whether you're greeting a family starting a vacation, helping a traveler find what they need, or simply offering a warm smile and friendly conversation, you'll play a key role in delivering the exceptional hospitality that sets Wally's apart. This position is perfect for individuals who genuinely enjoy interacting with people, creating positive experiences, and making guests feel welcome. While hospitality is the primary focus of this role, Hospitality Champions also help support a safe and enjoyable environment by assisting with entrance standards, communicating company policies, and serving as an extra set of eyes for store leadership.   • Previous hospitality, customer service, retail, restaurant, hotel, tourism, or guest-facing experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with enthusiasm, energy, and genuine hospitality. Make every guest feel appreciated from the moment they walk through the door.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, explain store offerings, and help guests make the most of their visit.
  • Create a positive atmosphere through friendly interactions, professionalism, and exceptional service.
  • Look for opportunities to exceed guest expectations and create moments that encourage guests to return.
  • Help communicate store policies regarding bags, backpacks, face coverings, and other entrance standards while maintaining a positive guest experience.
  • Serve as a visible presence near entrances and exits while communicating concerns, guest needs, or unusual activity to management when appropriate.
  • Represent the values, culture, and hospitality standards that make Wally's a destination known throughout the Midwest.
