About The Position

The Hospitality Assistant is responsible for delivering and retrieving patient meal trays, providing individualized assistance to each patient, Hospitality Rounds and nourishment services. Highlands Medical Center is a 170-bed hospital located in Scottsboro, offering a wide variety of emergency, inpatient and outpatient services to support the wellness of our community. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Minimum of two years in food service required
Excellent communication and customer service skills required
Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling
Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality
