About The Position

UT Health Pittsburg is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join their growing team. This position involves two weeks per month of hospitalist coverage at UT Health Pittsburg hospital. The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off, from 7 am to 7 pm. No procedures or ICU responsibilities are required. The average daily census is 10-15 patients with 2-3 admits per day. Night cross-coverage is provided by a remote APP, and the ER runs codes. Opportunities to pick up extra shifts at regional facilities are available. Teaching responsibilities include Rural Family Medicine Residents. The position utilizes Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation and improve work-life balance.

Requirements

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
• Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
