About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Physicians receive comprehensive training, including physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, to become experts in wound care utilizing cutting-edge technologies and modalities. The position is a W2 employment contract, with no work visa sponsorship available. Physicians can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities also available. The practice is mobile, requiring physicians to visit facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation in real-time at the point of care using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
