Hospitalist - Utica, NY
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Hospitalist for their practice in Utica, NY. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. Physicians will provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. The role involves weekly wound rounds at facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position includes paid training during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship, with opportunities to learn from highly qualified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities will be utilized.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
