About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is expanding its Hospitalist program and is seeking a board-certified/eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join their dedicated Hospitalist team. The role involves working with a 30+ physician Hospitalist program and offers 24/7 in-house intensivists with a closed ICU who respond to code blue. The position is responsible for Code Stroke and RRT calls, with Code Blue covered by in-house ICU/ER physicians. The medical center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional medical center serving the Puget Sound region, employing nearly 3,000 people and having approximately 1,000 active and courtesy providers.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school required
• Completion of a US Residency required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine required
• Washington physician license by time of hire required
• BLS Certification required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EPIC or other EMR highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Code stroke and RRT calls (Code Blue covered by ICU/ER docs in house)
