About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Hospitalist services in Rowlett, TX. The role involves inpatient care and includes call coverage. The case mix primarily focuses on Obstetrics and Gynecology, including deliveries and GYN emergencies. Specialty backup is available from Neonatology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Anesthesiology.
Requirements
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active TX license or Universal License (IMLC)
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience in OB/GYN
- Must be clinically active within the last year
- Complete prescreen questionnaire
- Provide CV in MM/YYYY format with gap explanations
- Self-query NPDB
- Include home address and contact info on CV
Responsibilities
- Perform OB triage, admissions, and attend deliveries
- Provide inpatient care and cover private call
- Cover OB floor and ER consults for GYN emergencies
- Provide surgical assists at cesarean sections
- Perform fetal monitoring and emergency response in labor and delivery
