About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Hospitalist for Elizabeth, NJ. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekends. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learn from highly qualified trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid Training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. No work visa sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals)
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR
