About The Position

Mercy Hospitalist team is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Internist to join our practice in Springfield, Missouri. This practice consists of 55 Hospitalists. Mercy Hospital Springfield is an 880 acute bed hospital with 90,000 emergency visits annually. The hospital features a Block Scheduling, a Closed ICU with intensivist coverage on-site 24/7, excellent subspecialty consultative support, and very high retention. It is a fully integrated health system with a System-wide EPIC EMR.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible Internist.
• Ability to work within a fully integrated health system.

• Experience in a high-retention practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist care within a practice of 55 Hospitalists.
• Collaborate with intensivists and subspecialists.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient care.
