Hospitalist - Rounding - Full Time
About The Position
Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Rounding Hospitalist to join their community-based hospital in Attleboro, MA. This is a patient-focused organization looking to grow its team with hospitalists dedicated to providing meaningful patient care. Sturdy Memorial Hospital, established in 1913, is a 132-bed facility offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, admitting over 7,000 individuals annually. The role involves providing direct patient care, with opportunities to expand expertise in geriatrics, oncology, or other subspecialty consultations. The hospitalist will work with a patient-centric mindset to provide high-quality service and care, collaborating with other hospitalists, advanced practitioners, primary care providers, and other specialties. The position is for a daytime shift from 7 am to 7 pm, working 7 days on and 7 days off, including holidays. The average patient load is 15-17 per shift, and no procedures are required.
Requirements
- BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or ability to obtain
- Current certification in CPR required
- Interested in working full time
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to communities in a well-established community hospital.
- Expand on expertise or interest in geriatrics, oncology, or other subspecialty consultation.
- Provide the highest-quality service and patient care with a patient-centric mindset.
- Work alongside other passionate hospitalists and advanced practitioners.
- Work cross-functionally with primary care providers and other specialties.
