About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily within a 40-60 mile radius. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position includes paid training during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship, with opportunities to learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities are required. W2 physicians can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
