About The Position
This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Physicians receive comprehensive wound management training and a wound fellowship from highly qualified, wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. The position utilizes cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians are W2 employees, earning an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship. No work visa sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day.
- Treat approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
- Engage in continuous learning from highly qualified physician peers and trainers.
