About The Position
A well-established, nonprofit healthcare organization in the Bluffton, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join its growing inpatient medicine team. 2026 Internal Medicine residents are encouraged to apply. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized adult patients, managing patient admissions, daily rounding, treatment planning, and discharge coordination. The physician will collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a modern hospital setting. Utilization of an integrated EMR system for accurate documentation and flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance are key aspects of this position within a collaborative, physician-led inpatient program.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
- Active or eligible DEA registration
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
