Hospitalist - Schulenburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Hospitalist for their practice in Schulenburg, TX. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius. Physicians will receive comprehensive wound management training, including a fellowship, from experienced trainers and Fellowship Directors, utilizing advanced clinical technologies and wound care modalities.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
