About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position includes paid training during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship, with opportunities to become an expert in wound management under the guidance of qualified trainers and Fellowship Directors. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities are required. W2 physicians can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities also available. No work visa sponsorship is provided.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
