About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is expanding its Hospitalist program and is seeking a board certified/eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join its dedicated Hospitalist team. The position is .8 FTE, which equates to 132 shifts per year, primarily during the day shift. The role is supported by 10 in-house advanced practice providers for cross-cover calls, and 24/7 in-house intensivists who manage a closed ICU and respond to code blue situations. The Hospitalist is also responsible for Code Stroke and Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls, although Code Blue is covered by ICU/ER physicians in-house.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Internal or Family Medicine Physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist services during the day shift.
• Manage patient care within the hospital setting.
• Respond to Code Stroke and RRT calls.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and intensivists.
