About The Position

As a PRN Hospitalist at St. James Hospital, you will work collaboratively with hospital and medical group providers to offer top-notch care and patient experience. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with APPs, care and case management, the Emergency Medicine team, and excellent support staff. The role involves practicing at St. James Hospital, a Level 3 Trauma Center, in Butte, MT. The hospital runs two shifts, day and night, with typical shifts being 12 hours. This is a PRN position with daily APP coverage from 6 AM to 6 PM. There is a strong partnership with St. Vincent Regional hospital, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. The location offers easy access to international airports in Bozeman, MT & Billings, MT.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
Residency trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
At least 3-5 years experience as a Hospitalist is required.
Passion for inpatient care.
