The Hospitalist Physician will provide clinical care to patients, manage inpatient care including rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults, and ensure a positive patient experience through excellent bedside manner and clear communication of medical plans.

Requirements

Family Medicine background
Ability to provide clinical care including obtaining patient histories, ordering labs and diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals.
Ability to explain medical procedures and plans of care to patients.
Ability to perform inpatient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults.
Ability to assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical histories.
Proficiency in documenting patient care services in EPIC.
Willingness to attend departmental meetings and professional training sessions.
Knowledge of and adherence to applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
Effective communication skills with physicians and medical staff.
