The Hospitalist provides care for hospitalized adult, general medical patients as the admitting or consulting physician.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification in appropriate specialty
- Background and experience in the care of hospitalized patients
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine
- Member in good standing of the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Medical Staff
Responsibilities
- Provides care for hospitalized adult, general medical patients as the admitting or consulting physician.
