Jefferson Health is seeking compassionate, patient-focused Per Diem Hospitalists to join their Hospital Medicine team in New Jersey. Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Active DEA and CDS registrations
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospitalist experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Respond to acute medical situations and emergencies on the floor
- Document care using EPIC electronic medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members
