About The Position

Join our established Hospitalist group at Vancouver General Hospital. We are a group of dedicated physicians providing care to an average of 135 medically complex elderly patients daily. We are looking for Full Time/ Part Time and locum physicians with an interest in care of Hospitalized patients to join our team. An interest in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Teaching and / or Research are desirable.

Requirements

• Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Mandatory
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Responsibilities

• Providing care to an average of 135 medically complex elderly patients daily.
• Caring for hospitalized patients.
• Participating in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Teaching and / or Research (desirable).
