About The Position
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hospitalist services for a Locum Tenens position in Wilmington, NC. This is an inpatient role focusing on clinical duties only, with an ongoing coverage period starting ASAP. The schedule involves 12-hour shifts, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a, with 14 shifts required per month. This coverage is needed due to a scheduling requirement. The agency will cover travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
Requirements
- Licensed in NC or Universal License (IMLC)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Neurocritical care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurocritical care to patients in a 10-bed Neuro ICU.
- Manage assigned patient panel in collaboration with the neurocritical care team.
- Perform 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) as scheduled by the facility.
- Utilize Epic EMR for thorough and timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
