About The Position

This is a permanent Hospitalist/Nocturnist position in Syracuse, NY. The role is for an inpatient service setting, covering a vacancy ASAP and ongoing. The coverage type is clinical plus call, with a work schedule of 7 PM - 7 AM on a 7 on/7 off rotating basis. The EMR system used is Epic. The position involves performing admissions, managing hospitalized patients overnight, conducting comprehensive history and physical examinations, providing closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients, monitoring and responding to changes in patient condition, and delivering patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care.

Requirements

• Active NY License or willing to obtain
• BC/BE in IM/FM
• Clean Record (highly preferred)
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients overnight
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
• Provide closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Deliver patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care
