About The Position

Hansen Family Hospital is seeking a Full Time Weekend Med/Surg Hospitalist to provide inpatient coverage. This opportunity is ideal for providers seeking weekend scheduling while practicing high-quality, broad-scope inpatient medicine in a supportive rural environment. This position will provide weekend coverage (Saturday & Sunday) for inpatient medical-surgical services providing care for a diverse adult inpatient population in a Critical Access Hospital setting with a broad range of diagnoses with access to specialist consultation and established transfer relationships. You will work closely with experienced nursing staff and a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Qualified candidates will include Iowa licensed MD, DO, or ARNP.
