Assist in daily activities of patient care services operations. Duties include housekeeping, inventory and stocking duties, and cleaning of equipment. Participate in Continual Service Readiness (CSR) activities to maintain the environment according to regulatory standards. Additionally, assist patients, family members and/or visitors with movement from inpatient floors and throughout the hospital.

Requirements

• High School diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or equivalent experience required.
• Healthcare knowledge preferred.
• CPR certification obtained within 90 days of hire - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
• Expectation for rotation through weekends NOT holidays.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision.
• Requires analytical skills in order to identify problems, troubleshoot and find the most efficient solutions to problems.
• Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team.
• Must be able to follow through on commitments by working independently through checklists and following policies & procedure
