This role directly contributes to LifeLink’s life-saving mission by coordinating with the Hospital Services Manager and Director, identifying and maintaining effective communication within the department, and processing allograft orders while maintaining the allograft inventory room.

  • Work requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work requires a typing ability of at least fifty words per minute.
  • Work requires the interpersonal ability to interact with management, staff, and outside contacts.
  • Work requires strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work requires a minimum of one-year relevant job experience.
  • Work requires the ability to work under some stress in order to meet commitments and/or deadlines.
  • Work requires adherence to a dress code: scrubs.
  • Work requires thorough knowledge of basic word processing fundamentals.
  • Work requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work requires the ability to lift and carry boxes and supplies up to 70 lbs.
  • Work requires a proven attendance and punctuality record.

Responsibilities

  • Receives and processes telephone/fax/email orders for allografts.
  • Prepares invoices and consignment orders for accounts.
  • Pulls, Q.C.s and packs shipments.
  • Makes courtesy telephone calls to hospitals ensuring deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Assists in the labeling and stocking of all allografts as they are released for clinical use.
  • Responsible for making supplies for allograft placements.
  • Assists in the shipping of tissue when necessary.
  • Coordinates local pick-up and delivery for courier shipments.
  • Assigns return authorization numbers for hospitals and distributors.
  • Position requires being on call 24/7 for hospital services as needed.
  • Other duties as required.
