About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join their Field Service team to support hospitals with critical medical waste services. This is a hands-on role that involves being on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. The role will service medical waste containers at three local AdventHealth locations: AdventHealth Lake Wales (1x weekly), AdventHealth Heart of Florida (2x weekly), and Adventhealth Kissimmee (1x weekly). This is a part-time, 4-day per week role, offering flexibility in your day.

Requirements

Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
Personal transportation to both assigned work sites.
A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between assigned locations.
A can-do attitude.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
