About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Hospital Security Guard. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. As a Hospital Security Guard in a Hospital setting, physical ability and ability to De-escalate situations is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalating situations in a Hospital environment.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification an asset is an asset or willing to obtain
• Use of Force is an asset or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Tactical experience (Asset)

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Lead a team of trained Security guards
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Responding to code
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
