About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for an interim hospital assignment in the Forrest City, AR area. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the chance to support a community-focused acute care hospital while working alongside an experienced pharmacy team. The assignment is for 2+ months, with potential to extend until a permanent hire is made. The schedule is 2-3 days per week, with operating hours from Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:330pm and Friday 8:00am-1:00pm. Days of coverage can be coordinated directly with pharmacy leadership.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- IV compounding experience preferred
- Experience with Medhost preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Order verification and clinical review
- Sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed
- Oversight and support of pharmacy technicians
- Medication dispensing and distribution
- Support daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
